My stay at Deer Run Motel was a mixed bag. While the remodels are impressive, I encountered some unexpected surprises that made me uneasy. The location is great, especially for accessing Silver Dollar City, but there were definitely some major cleanliness concerns that need addressing.

I stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it looked fantastic. though I was startled to find a live scorpion on the bathroom floor upon arrival. Apart from that, everything else was clean and well-kept during my four-night stay.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even helped me with internet issues. however, I felt a bit unsettled by the aggressive management behavior I witnessed towards another guest during the night.
